Fondly called “Chinna Thala” by his CSK fans, Raina is making his way into Kollywood with a film presently named “Production No. 1.” With this initiation, a new chapter is beginning in the life of the icon left-handed batsman, who retired from international cricket in 2020.

Recently, the production house, famous for backing the mammoth Tamil blockbusters-Cinema’s Lyca Productions-announce the production of the film, which is currently in pre-production process and will be directed by a new-age filmmaker, whose name is still to be officially undertaken.
As per preliminary reports, “Production No. 1” is going to be an action-drama very heavy on the emotional side. Raina is expected to play an interesting character who is supposed to resemble his real-life image of being strong, humble, and rooted with values. A very strong supporting cast will be there, and the adventure spans across various locations in South India.
